In 2011, I began using a service called Scoop. It! to curate stories about how the way were communicating with one another was rapidly changing due to digital and social media platforms. I named the project "Communications Major", since that was primarily what I studied in college, having earned an A.A. in Mass Communications and a B.A. in English, with an emphasis on the written word. Neither of those degrees could have predicted how we impart information today, or even 10 or 20 years ago. While this project is typically a fun one, and an excuse to hang out online more than I should, it serves as a valuable (and often amusing) resource of communication trends in the 21st century (so far). Have a look here.
